Coco’s law created two new offences which criminalize the non-consensual distribution of personal pictures, the penalty of sharing said images having an intent to cause damage carries the penalty of an infinite good and/or seven several years imprisonment (Collins, 2023; Harassment, Destructive Communications and Associated Offences Act, 2020).
